"Ethnic" by Ek Thongprasert

I really like the pictures for Ek Thongprasert's new jewellery line "Ethnic". The real-life models give an entirely unique and meaningful vibe to the jewellery.

The "Ethnic"collection focuses on different perspectives of ethnic cultures and jewellery. Many of the pieces use silicone in place of silver:

The edgy, avant-garde brand Ek Thongprasert is composed of clothes designer Ek Thongprasert and jewellery designer Noon Passama Sanpatchayapong. The two met at Chulalongkorn Univeristy in Thailand, where Thongprasert was studying a degree in Architecture. After completing his degree, he attended the Royal Academy of Fine Art in Antwerp, Belgium (the same academy where the renowned fashion group the "Antwerp Six" came together). Sanpatchayapong completed her degree in Industrial Design and went on to attend a jewellery design school in Amsterdam.

The brand prides itself on a strong conceptual element that runs through every collection and design.
