Pippa Steals the Show

Kate's younger sister Pippa looked absolutely stunning at the wedding in a very elegant, clean cut dress by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. Her emerald coloured evening dress by Temperley was another excellent choice. The colour and shape suited her perfectly. I sense a future fashion star!

Fairy Tale

I didn't think it was possible, but Kate looked even more beautiful for the wedding reception yesterday. In another Sarah Burton creation for Alexander McQueen, the Duchess of Cambridge looked as regal and stunning as ever. A real life fairy tale wedding!

Beautiful

Yesterday was such an amazing day for England. It was so nice to see everyone come together and be proud to be British. The wedding was stunning, and I thought that Kate looked absolutely exquisite. Her dress could not have been more perfect for her. Sarah Burton is one lucky lady and did a fantastic job on Kate and Pippa's gowns.

William and Kate looked so happy and so in love. 

Amidst all of the tragic news that has been dominating headlines recently, it was a wonderful occasion for people all over the world to come together and celebrate some heart-warming, happy news!

What a spectacular day for England and for the Royal family. And for Sarah Burton, of course!

Bambi Northwood-Blyth (her real name is Stephanie) is an Australian up and coming star of the modelling world. With insanely perfect eyebrows, piercing eyes and an amazing figure, Bambi has all the makings of a future supermodel and is definitely one to watch.  

Fit for a Queen

I am getting sooo excited for the royal wedding this month! I cannot wait to see what dress Kate has chosen. Although there have been whispers about all sorts of names designing the wedding dress of the year, I really hope that the rumours about Sarah Burton designing it are true. An Alexander McQueen dress would be so perfect for the occasion: modern, edgy, elegant and most importantly English!

They are all so beautiful and I can't wait to finally see what she wears on the big day! I think Kate is a perfect example for a future Queen. Not only is she intelligent, kind and very classy, but she is also beautiful and has a  great sense of style. I love how she always manages to look on-trend and very modern while still exuding elegance, class and grace. She is a great role model for the country. 

Just for fun, here are a few of my favourite Kate Middleton looks from this year:

This Burberry trench by Christopher Bailey sold out literally within a day in every single size! This post box red suit by Italian designer Luisa Spagnoli also sold out within a day of Kate wearing it. 

 

The black Libelula coat that Kate wore in January sold out within hours of her wearing it, and the website received thousands of hits. The waiting list for the coat was 300!! The Temperley dress she wore in December was gone within days, and sadly was never re-stocked.

Issa has been a long-time favourite of Kate. Not only did she rock an Issa royal blue dress for the official engagement pictures and announcements, she also has worn many other designs over the years. The dresses fit her perfectly, and are sleek, feminine and sexy yet wonderfully classy as always. I'm very excited to see what the future Queen and global trendsetter has in store for us in 2 weeks time!

Look of the Week

Today was soo beautiful! I took full advantage of the sun and spent a lazy day sunbathing in my garden. I already have the verrrry faintest tan lines, yessss! As I was coming down from my sunshine high, I was just flickingg through some of my favourite fashion blogs. My favourite look this week is taken from the Italian blogger Chiara Ferragni.

I especially like the detail on the arms of the jacket. And you can't go wrong with an oversized clutch.

Awesome cut-out shoulders on the shirt. And I like the Mango skinny belt, it looks great with Chiara's fierce shoes!

Really like this shirt. The cut-out shoulders balance out the studded collar really well.

I really must track down this ring!
