Hot Hot Heat
Meet my new style crush, Aimee Song. I stumbled upon her blog, Song of Style, and can't get enough of her fun, laid back looks. I especially like her impeccable taste in accessories and the way she mixes a Californian sort of glam-boho look with acid brights and cool trends.

Hermione
Emma Watson looked absolutely breathtaking last night at the première for the final film instalment of the Harry Potter series.
The actress looked amazing in Oscar de la Renta, and later changed into a short, shimmery nude dress by Elie Saab. She's come a long way since her early days as Hermione Granger! She is on the cover of Vogue US for July, looking absolutely stunning. If you haven't seen the photos yet, check out this behind-the scenes video of the Vogue shoot.

The A Team
I've been pretty much obsessed with Ed Sheeran for the last few months. I heard about him form a friend at university and now I'm hooked! His voice is incredibly unique but at the same time reminds me a bit of Damien Rice, only much less depressing. He is equally an extremely talented guitarist and has worked with the likes of Example, Wiley and Devlin.
Last month, his single "The A Team" debuted at number 3 on the UK Top 40 chart. If you haven't heard it yet, give it a listen here. I predict big things for this guy, who is touring the UK this October. I have yet to find an Ed Sheeran song that I don't love, but if you haven't heard many make sure to have a listen to the much talked about "You Need Me, I Don't Need You" (Listen here). Some of my other personal favourites are "You" featuring Wiley (here), "She" (here) and "One Night" (here). I challenge you not to love this guy. He has now beaten Prince Harry to the much coveted number one spot of My Favourite Ginger.

Queen of the Maxi
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is my latest style crush. She looks absolutely stunning at every single red carpet event she attends. Apparently her new Transformers 3 film is meant to be dreadful, but who really cares when Rosie turns up looking like this to the premières? She has been photographed recently rocking a number of glamorous maxi-length gowns that perfectly complement her slender frame and long legs.

Burberry
Gucci, Michael Kors times two.
So, I think it's official. Nobody can rock the maxi trend quite like Miss Huntington-Whiteley.
Back!
After exactly two months since my last post, La Vie en Rose is back up and running, just in time for summer.
So, my first question is... has anyone else fallen in love with Catherine Middleton? I really and truly have. I have absolutely loved seeing her wardrobe choices over the last few months, which are always exquisite and so classy. I think she is the perfect role model for this country. She is a beautiful balance to the inundation of images we see of "celebrities" like Jordan, The Only Way is Essex cast and the dreadful Kerry Katona.
What do you think of her wardrobe for her and William's royal tour of Canada and the US so far? I think it has been, as usual, flawless. Donning stunning dresses from Erdem, Issa, Reiss and Sarah Burton for Burberry, her tour of Canada has made headlines not because of what she and William are actually doing there but because of her choice of wardrobe every day!

Look of the Week
This week's look comes from model and Vogue.com blogger Hanneli Mustaparta. I love the sheer, flowing Peter Jensen dress. The light blue Mulberry bag and Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony platform shoes go perfectly with the dress for a light, springy yet utterly cool look.

Pippa Steals the Show
Kate's younger sister Pippa looked absolutely stunning at the wedding in a very elegant, clean cut dress by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. Her emerald coloured evening dress by Temperley was another excellent choice. The colour and shape suited her perfectly. I sense a future fashion star!
Pippa entering Westminster Abbey. She looked absolutely show stopping, and was such a lovely sister carrying Kate's train for her! Love the buttons down the back of the dress. Her dress was much like Kate's: beautifully modern yet timeless.

Fairy Tale
Beautiful
Yesterday was such an amazing day for England. It was so nice to see everyone come together and be proud to be British. The wedding was stunning, and I thought that Kate looked absolutely exquisite. Her dress could not have been more perfect for her. Sarah Burton is one lucky lady and did a fantastic job on Kate and Pippa's gowns.
William and Kate looked so happy and so in love.
Amidst all of the tragic news that has been dominating headlines recently, it was a wonderful occasion for people all over the world to come together and celebrate some heart-warming, happy news!
What a spectacular day for England and for the Royal family. And for Sarah Burton, of course!
